
The 2025 RM Festive lunch will feature anecdotes and music performances coordinated and led by Arts Committee Chair David and Music Scholarship Champion Karen. The program will range from piano pieces by Debussy played by Monash University student Sara Deeb to the ever popular singalong, with Tilly Jones’ special rendition of Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire on cello and computer.
Sara Deeb (Biography)
Sara is a dedicated classical pianist who began studying piano at six. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music (Classical Piano) alongside a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University. Sara is also a graduate of the School of Byzantine Ecclesiastical Music in Tripoli, Lebanon, and serves as a chanter in the Orthodox Church. She aspires to enrich Australia’s music community through performance, collaboration, and cultural engagement.
Tilly Jones is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Lismore, NSW, Australia, now resident in Melbourne. Studying at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium for over a decade, Tilly has performed with renowned artists such as James Morrison, Richard Gill, Sean O’Boyle, Jane Rutter, David Helfgott, and Tobias Brieder. In August 2022, she composed ‘Resounding’ for a short ABC documentary about the impacts of 2022 flooding on the Northern Rivers Music community. Outside of music, Tilly is passionate about disability inclusion within the music industry.
