100th ANNIVERSARY of END of FIRST WORLD WAR
On 27 November, to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War, the Rotary Clubs of Glenferrie, Hawthorn, Kew and Yarra Bend will combine to host a signature event to pay homage to one of the architects of that achievement, an Australian, Sir John Monash.

Rotary Central Melbourne's annual Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Breakfast is to be held on Wednesday 28th November 2018. Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK, AFC (Ret'd) will be speaking at the Paul Harris Society event.
'POSITIVE PEACE
Rob Fels has invited all members to "Experience and Learn about "Positive Peace". This is an interactive seminar where, rather than sitting passively in an audience, you can actively be involved in learning how the Rotary Peace Academy works towards achieving "Positive Peace" in the World.

RC HORSHAM HAD A 90th BIRTHDAY!
President Robert and Myra, along with PN Marion Macleod and Inter-Club Visits Chair John Peberdy clocked up some kilometres as they travelled to Horsham to share in Rotary Horsham's 90th Anniversary Dinner. Our Club chartered RC of
Ballarat in 1925, and they in turn chartered RC of Horsham in 1928. Marion is seen here after a long dinner for the cutting of the cake!

Ross Scholes Robertson is recovering from major back surgery and he is advised all went well! “All is going well this far and I am due home next Wednesday. As they say "One Step at a Time" I am looking forward to seeing all you beautiful people again in December.” We all wish you well Ross.
