We are here in Rotary to help others.  Rotary Safe Families is here to help you help others!  There was a show of 30 hands of Members promising to register.  Where are you please?  Just 2 hours in 2 Workshops for you to understand exactly what family violence and elder abuse mean, and what you can do as a Rotarian in response.

 

 

MEMBER'S DAY

President Robert has announced that Wednesday, 27 March will be a Member's Day. We encourage everyone to make a special effort to be there - it will be relaxed, entertaining and enjoyable.

 

 

AFL FOOTY TIPPING COMPETITION

Thank you to those of you who have already joined the Club's 2019 AFL Footy Tipping Competition. Just remember that the season begins on Thursday, March 21st .   You will need to have your tips in by 7.10 that evening. WHAT A 'PP' DOES ON LABOR DAY

President Robert and Myra attended the Moomba Parade and guess who they came across in the Parade? PP Chris Wang, who has helped the Melbourne Dai Loong Association for FORTY YEARS to produce the ‘Big Dragon’, a key fantastic feature of the event!

Members may be interested in the update on the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School as reported in The Age, 17.3.19.  As you know,  Edward Tudor, founding Executive Director of MITS was the 2018/19 recipient of RCM’s Vocational Service Award, presented at the Club’s luncheon meeting late last year.
