MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT SURVEY PART 2

President Robert's Report Part 2:  "Last week I covered some of the key elements of the recent survey. This week I’d like to move onto some of the specific comments that were made in relation to particular projects that people were interested in being developed by Rotary Melbourne.

 

 

USES FOR RAFFLE TICKETS

Have you considered the myriad of ways you can apply a Raffle ticket?  Mother's Day gift!  Gift to your beloved!  Gift to your adult children who need a vacation with your grandchildren!  Gift to your neighbour who has looked after your house while you were away! Be part of the act of giving.  Gift a ticket!

 

 

TICKET SELLING AT MARKET

Thanks to Trevor Neroy, Reg Smith, Maryla Juchnowski, Allan Wang, President Robert, we stood in the cold and rain at the Camberwell Market for a second round of Raffle Ticket selling.  Each of us with our own "unique" style of selling, including Allan who translated the prizes into Mandarin!  Onwards and Upwards!

RCM 2019 FOOTY TIPPING COMP. UPDATE

The following is a short report from our guru of Football Tipping, Bruce Davidson.  Bruce reports: "At Round Six the competition is humming along nicely."

STAMP COLLECTING IS RAISING FUNDS

Item of news from the Mornington Peninsula Group's lovely lunch meeting:  "Margaret Ross provided some very interesting figures on the amount of money that is raised from the sale of stamps. To date the total raised is $120,357.00.

Katie Wilford, our Rotary Global Scholar from America, is thrilled to announce that she has secured a high school mathematics teaching position at HLV High School in Victor, Iowa for the 2019 academic school year commencing in August.
