Mark Pinoli has recently returned from another humanitarian trip volunteering his support to the disadvantaged communities of Nepal. Mark is a quiet hero but after prompting, he agreed to write something of his passionate work in Nepal. He is seen here exchanging Rotary banners with President, Rotary Club of Gorkha.

We congratulate our colleague, Gladys Liu, on her election as Member for Chisholm in the Australian House of Representatives in the recent Federal election. She will be the first Chinese Australian woman ever elected to the House. Gladys hopes to continue attending our regular meetings as often as possible.

New research funded by Australian Rotary Health will look at how children are impacted when a parent from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) has experienced Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), with hopes to inform a new intervention for ADF families.
