LAST WEEK'S MEETING

Last week,  our Vice Presidents - Barbara Yerondais and Trevor Nink presented the year's achievements from all directions of Rotary Melbourne.  We were updated on some of our 85 Humanitarian Projects, Awards and Events by Members including Bernie McIntosh, Chris Stilwell, Alan Trumble, Ari Talantis, Jo Mavros and more.  

Last week's meeting,  DG Bronwyn Stephens surprised our Hugh Bucknall.  Surprised him so much that he was "speechless"!  A District 9800 Triple Sapphire Paul Harris was awarded to a "champion" Rotarian Hugh Bucknall.

MEET A NEW MEMBER

As we prepare for Rotary Melbourne's Presidential changeover this coming Wednesday 26 June, you might like to take a look at Rotary Melbourne'sOperational Plan for 2019/20  and the accompanying Organisation Chart.

Members and their partners are invited to a Special Preview Performance of Come from Away, a Broadway Musical with Book, Music and Lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein.

David Kram has provided an update on a Speaker at a luncheon meeting last year.  "Our Arts Committee promised to help one of our guest speakers, who is a Rotarian and a choir conductor: Dr Kathleen McGuire (www.kathleen-mcguire.com).

Stephanie Woollard and Seven Women invite Rotary Club members from both RCM and Rotary International to join a 10-day Rotary ‘Hands on Development’ Cultural Immersion Tour to Nepal.

Oh dear…Bob Cook is recovering from a fall and subsequent broken hip two weeks ago.  After a stint of rehab in Epworth he is now expected to be home for recovery.
