It was a breath of fresh air hearing Dr Cath Crock, Hush Foundation convey how "Gatherings of Kindness" have altered and improved the Royal Children's Hospital for children and medical staff by promoting kindness at all levels.

Our highly respected Member Ian Ferguson was remembered at last week's meeting.  Thank you Keith Callinan for creating this wonderful obituary of Ian Ferguson and Bob Fels for your reminder of Ian's sailboarding passion.  Ian is seen here with PP Mary.

LATEST ON THE HEPATITIS PROJECT

Four Victorians die every week as a consequence of viral hepatitis.  Peter Clark is looking for Rotary Members to step up and work with a new Rotary Melbourne project - eradicating Hepatitis.

AROUND THE BAY RAFFLE REMINDER

The response to the raffle last week was good. However, we need to remember to return the stubs and money and to alert those Members absent last week to pick up ticket books from their table in the weeks that lead up to the 14 August launch and drawing of the raffle prize."  All proceeds go to the Smith Family.

 

 

WHAT ARE R100 SOCKS?

The socks are courtesy of our PP Phil Endersbee, who is making these special R100 Socks up to April 21, 2021 at least. Can be purchased via Jo in the Office presently.

GLOBAL SCHOLAR UPDATE

KATIE GOES TO ULURU!

Our Global Scholar extraordinaire, Katie has tramped Australia (often alone) and made every minute count in her year here.  She has been a terrific ambassador for Global Scholars and is about to depart for home.  Katie got to Uluru to complete her travels.  She was spellbound and "lost for words for once in my life"!  Thank you Katie, I will miss you!
