43 YEARS!

Congratulations to a valued and highly respected Bob Burgess.  A Rotary Melbourne Member for 43 years!  This week we singled out Bob for his long time membership in the Club.  Always a gentleman!

LET'S WALK SO OTHERS CAN!

October is End Polio Now month. Saturday, 19 October commencing at 10am –join Rotarians and Friends for a 5km walk, or do as much as you can.  Walk Your Way - quick or slow.  Everyone is welcome.

 

 

IT'S THE END OF THE LINE FOR POLIO!

Polio Train Ride Thursday 24 October – This event will be leaving from Train stations across our district (Bendigo, Brighton, Werribee and Caufield) with the aim to meet at Fed Square Melbourne at 2.30 pm.  All 4 Victorian Rotary Districts are invited to join in this adventure.

PP Robert is obviously drying his socks off whilst floating down the Rhine!

Editor asked Clive how he was keeping his R100 socks so clean and white?  "I wash them every night and sometimes I use the hairdryer to dry them!"  How must poor Helen be coping, having a husband stripping off at every point of interest?

UPDATE on FANTASTIC SUKIN PROJECT

Editor has received update details of how 49 pallets of Sukin skin care products were collected, housed, handled and dispersed to many disadvantaged in Victoria.

Rotary Yea has extended an invitation to Members to visit the outstanding Yea Garden Expo on September 21 & 22 at the Yea Saleyards. Only 1 hour from Melbourne.
