Dr Joe Tucci is seen here with Chair Reg Smith and President Kevin Sheehan after receiving Rotary Melbourne's 2019 Vocational Service Award. Joe is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Childhood Foundation and such a worthy recipient of this year's Award. 

President Kevin has been asking Members and the Board to put forward a Member/s who have been quietly going about "Service Above Self" in Rotary Melbourne.  Sandra Hills was identified last week's meeting as a Quiet Achiever.

What a fantastic turnout of riders, bicycles and volunteers!  This item has been created thanks to Sharann, Suresh and Kevin who took time out to send Editor (in Bowral) the marvellous snapshot of a highly successful Around the Bay 2019.

The Bulletin won't do justice to Clive's sublime photo of Morro Rock, USA and his tired R100 sock!  A good wash now in the home washing machine and this bamboo sock will feel brand new!

Polio Train Ride Thursday 24 October – This event will be leaving from Train stations across our district (Bendigo, Brighton, Werribee and Caufield) with the aim to meet at Fed Square Melbourne at 2.30 pm.  All 4 Victorian Rotary Districts are invited to join in this adventure.

October is End Polio Now month. Saturday, 19 October commencing at 10am –join Rotarians and Friends for a 5km walk, or do as much as you can.  Walk Your Way - quick or slow.  Everyone is welcome.
