CLUB NEWS & REMINDERS

As promised, Mandi Wendt has provided a progress update on Rotary Melbourne's "20 in 2020".

Peter Clark has advised Bulletin that two presentations were well received by Camberwell and Brighton Rotary Clubs .  Our main challenge now is to get more clubs on board for presentations. Please advise us via email to endhepatitisnow@rotarymelbourne.org.au if you have any suggestions.

We have an opportunity to hear Emergency Management Commissioner Andrew Crisp, Victoria Police at a District 9800 Breakfast.  Have you checked out this invitation?  Would you like to invite a guest to this special event?  Wednesday, 19 February.  Andrew will provide the Victoria Police view of the bushfires.

We are invited to attend the Bionics Institute a biomedical research institute focusing on medical bionics.  The Institute's three core research themes are bionic hearing, bionic vision and neurobionics through deep brain stimulation. Picture shows a device designed to diagnose Parkinson's Disease.

Congratulations to both Clive and daughter Robyn as Clive escorts his daughter to her recent wedding.  More congratulations will be the order of the day as Robyn is joining her father (as a soon to be inducted) Rotary Melbourne Member. Happiness all round.
