'WHERE ARE THE R100 SOCKS?'

EDITOR NEEDS A SENSE OF HUMOUR

As regular readers of our Bulletin, you would have noticed Editor requesting more photos in situ of R100 socks.  After missing the ideal photos from our official delegates to Sydney's Government House, the excuses ranged from: "Alas, we realised on departing Gov House that the opportunity was lost BUT to have taken off our shoe in such regal surrounding would have ……!" to "My greatest fear is the wrath and scorn of Dorothy!  I shall just have to have another red wine to console my self!"

DRYING R100 SOCKS IN MERIMBULA

Thank you Hugh Bucknall for finally respecting the R100 Socks' Photographic Competition and submitting a photograph.  Rather troubled looking socks sitting on a dining table.  Oh well ... You have to be in it to win it!

EVEN IN THE LIFT, YOU ARE NOT SAFE!

Editor quietly minding her own business in the lift from 35th Floor Sofitel, and look what happend!  PP David Jones showing off his R100 socks to our wonderful guest speaker Michael Happell.  Boys will be boys!

GROUP EVENT

MALVERN GROUP MEET FOR MEMORIAL LUNCH

Beautiful Sunday with some of our Malvern Group enjoying a BBQ, friendship at Sharann and Mike Johnson's superb home on the edge of Flinders Golf Course with a view over Bass Strait.  This lunch in February is Malvern Group's Memorial Lunch which is traditionally February each year.  Terrific to hear the stories of past Group Captains who have made Malvern Group such a warm, friendship Group.
