LAST WEEK'S MEETING
OUTSTANDING MEETING
President Marion Macleod's first Wednesday meeting was outstanding. Peter Costello presented his most credible outline of COVID-19 and our future. This fielded many terrific questions from our Members.
FIRST MOTHER - DAUGHTER MEMBERSHIP
It was delightful to watch President Marion Macleod induct her daughter Sarah Macleod-Bourke as a member of Rotary Melbourne at Marion's inaugural weekly meeting. This is a "first" for Rotary Melbourne. We have father/daughter Members but never a mother/daughter. We welcome Sarah and look forward to many years of friendship and sharing projects.
THANKS FROM BARBARA YERONDAIS
Thanks at last week's meeting provided by Barbara included a "smile".

R100 REPORT FROM HUGH
Thank you Hugh Bucknall for providing this outstanding report on the rolling out of Rotary 100 Years.
MUTE BUTTON AND MORE ONLINE ETIQUETTE
Please use your mute button. Many of us are now Zoom officienados but sometimes we forget about muting and can interrupt a meeting with a comment or maybe a gurgle, cough or a rustling from an unmuted microphone. Please remember to keep it off unless invited to speak. We do enjoy the appearance of a child, cat or dog though. This is all part of our fellowship.
'WHERE ARE THE R100 SOCKS?'
MEV, R100 SOCKS AND CARAVANS
Mev Connell and his R100 'socks in action' assisting him in towing a caravan to Bairnsdale to provide a temporary home to a bushfire victim. Read more for Mev's comment. Thanks Mev.
ODD SOCKS
Buy and wear R100 Socks as they are so easily paired after washing and will never become "odd" like conveyed in the poem:
There’s no other choice but to wear them, The drawer offered nothing but these. An odd pair of socks might be quirky, Odd sizes don’t normally please.
