CHRIS SOTIROPOULOS

Chris Sotiropoulos made an outstanding contribution to our Member's Meeting describing his Rotary Melbourne journey and incorporation of Rotary into both his professional and personal life.

 

 

YIDAN XI

One of our newer Members, Yidan Xi contributed beautifully to last week's Members' Meeting.  Yidan has been a stalwart of Rotary Melbourne even prior to induction with her position at Chateau Yering, she organised the main prize in our Rotary International Women's Day Breakfast this year.

 

 

PETER HANLON

Our Honorary Treasurer, Peter Hanlon provided us with an overview of Rotary Melbourne performance and financial position to 30 June, 2020.  The Board of Rotary Melbourne as the Trustees of our 2 charitable funds approved the annual financial statements and related matters earlier this month. These accounts will be tabled for adoption by the members at the AGM on 18 November.

 

 

NORMAN TARALRUD-BAY

Norman Taralrud-Bay was awarded a Multiple Ruby Paul Harris at last week's meeting.  Congratulations Norman.

MIRRORS HELPING TO END TRACHOMA

Rotary is working to End Trachoma in all different forms.  For example, many indigenous people do not have access to a mirror.  The point of providing a mirror?
