Environmental sustainability must be part of our daily lives, and to improve awareness of the environmental harm of food wastes, Rotary Melbourne is partnering with Oz Harvest and the City of Melbourne to hold our inaugural event titled Round Plate during Melbourne Knowledge Week.

Reception Committee Vacancies: We have a number of vacancies on the Reception Committee. The following qualifications will make you an ideal applicant. 

1. New to the club (from February 2020).

2. Have not met many members yet.

3. Don’t recognise or know many members.

4. Have an outgoing disposition and like meeting and greeting people.

Message from Rotary Sydney: "We invite you as Members of the Rotary Club of Melbourne to book early to ensure you can join us. President Fatima Ali and all our members are keen to have you and other representatives of the Rotary Club of Melbourne at all our Centenary Events but especially at the Sydney Celebrates 100 years of Rotary in Australia, Cocktails and canapés at the Sydney Royal Mint on 1 May as this is the Centenary of the date of the Charter of both our Clubs, or to use words from 1921 our clubs were elected to membership of The International Association of Rotary Clubs on this date." 

Editor would like to thank Robert Fisher for his summary of the Aussie Peace Walk and weekend events in Canberra.  Especially appreciated as Robert had a long drive from Canberra on Sunday and immediately put "pen to paper" with photos and captions in time for this week's Bulletin.
