The recipient of the inaugural Rotary Club of Melbourne Environmental Sustainability Award is Claire Moore.
Claire is the Founder and CEO of Sweet Justice Ltd a Social Enterprise teaching Beekeeping within the Justice System.

Service to Seniors Award Nominations Reminder
One of the Club's Annual Awards is the Service to Seniors Award made to a person whose outstanding service for seniors in a voluntary capacity is judged to have made a positive difference to the lives of seniors.
MITS Update
MITS Executive Director Edward Tudor has provided a term 3 student up-date covering both the Howard Springs and Melbourne campuses. He has also extended an invitation to join the Gala-at-Home dinner in late October so that we can continue the spirit of this annual MITS event held at Albert Park Lake’s Carousel Restaurant until COVID hit. In the coming weeks Ed will provide further details, but for now you can pencil in the following: Gala-at-Home dinner hampers (delivery on 21, 22 and 23 October) & Online Silent Auction (14-23 October).

Following a very successful event in 2020 Rotarians, friends and the community are encouraged once again to take action from October 1st to 31st to raise awareness, funds, and support to end poliomyelitis, a vaccine-preventable disease that still threatens the children of the world today.
