Our guest speakers last week were Betty Kitchener AM and Prof. Tony Jorm. Betty trained as a teacher and worked in special education before developing a career in psychology, counselling and nursing. Tony is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Melbourne and NHMRC Leadership Fellow.

COVID Survey - Reminder
To help plan for our community's opening up when vaccination rates reach the targeted thresholds, Rotary Melbourne have launched a survey so we can hear from all members whether you have been, or are planning to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and your comfort with attending in-person meetings if you and others attending are vaccinated.

MITS October Newsletter
Ed Tudor, Executive Director of MITS (Melbourne Indigenous Transition School) has shared their latest newsletter here. This year we have seen exceptionally strong academic growth from our students, testament to their strength and resilience. This is made possible by their own commitment, but also that of our staff, many of whom completed another 14 days in Howard Springs with the students at the end of Term 3.
