Last Week's Evening Meeting  

Rotary Melbourne's evening meeting was our first hybrid format held at the Lyceum Club on 11 May.  The guest speaker was Clare Moore - the winner of Rotary Melbourne’s first Environmental Sustainability Award in 2021. A great recording of the meeting can be viewed on Rotary Melbourne’s YouTube Channel: https://youtu.be/TrHl65PxbAw.

The wonderful evening of fellowship and fine wine was held at CRU in Kew last Thursday, hosted by President Reg.       

I write to inform you that as a result of illness and the need to give priority to her recovery and personal well-being, President-elect, Bev Brock has advised that she is unable to take up the post of President for the 2022 Rotary year.

A reminder it is Annual Appeal time.  Your donation is essential and valued and will support the Club’s projects and activities some of those are shown on the right.

Can’t make the convention in-person? Join virtually for $75US from 12:00 a.m. (Chicago-time) 11 May through 31 August 2022.

District News

The District 9800 Assembly forum annually is essential training for incoming Club chairs, project leaders and office bearers.     

Make sure you book for this lunch as we congratulate our own Mandi Wendt as she takes the reigns from DG Dale.  Our Club is the host supporting incoming DG Wendt.  Our first District governor for some years.
