Our Newest Paul Harris Fellow - Ari Talantis

At last Wednesday's meeting we witnessed the presentation of a Paul Harris Fellow Award to Ari Talantis has consistently been pivotal in the Club’s communication strategy. Congratulations Ari.        

 

 

Royce Abbey Award 2021/22 - Yidan Xi

Yidan Xi has provided exemplary leadership to the Rotary Melbourne evening meetings team. Her humility and friendship combine to create a purposeful leadership style and in doing so Yidan epitomises the Rotary value of Service Above Self.  Congratulations Yidan.  

 

 

 

Forth Bridge Award 2021-22 - Deb Yin Foo

The Forth Bridge Award for 2021-22, is well-deserved by Deb Yin Foo.  Deb is a consummate Rotarian and is highly respected also for her work "behind the scenes" and championing the End Hepatitis project. Congratulations Deb.

Axle Award 2022 - Iqbal Reta

Iqbal Reta was awarded the 2022 Axle Award presented by VP Peter Davis virtually.  Iqbal Reta attended online. Congratulations Iqbal.

NGV Visit 2022 - Picasso

SAVE THE DATE! *BOOKINGS OPEN SOON* Rotary Melbourne is organising a lecture and visit to the NGV 2022 Melbourne Winter Masterpieces on Friday 22 July 2022The Picasso CenturyExclusively developed for the NGV by the Centre Pompidou and the Musée national Picasso-Paris, the exhibition features over 80 works by Picasso alongside over 100 works by more than 50 of his contemporaries.

District 9800 DG Changeover Event Saturday 25 June

Over 200 Rotarians from around the District witnessed the passing of the District Governor baton from Dale Hoy to Rotary Melbourne member, Amanda Wendt.

National Tree Day – 31st JULY 2022 Volunteers needed

The Rotary Melbourne Board has approved a proposal from the Environmental Sustainability Committee that Club members with a family member or friend participate in a volunteering role on National Tree Day by joining a planting that a community group has organised.
