Walk With Us to end Polio 2022 - Final

Connections in life and in the club….
Michael Selth's relative Rob Selth and my uncle David Rogers were flying in the same Halifax III from 102 Bomber Squadron when they were shot down over the English Channel after bombing a V2 rocket site in 1944, by Peter Rogers.
Vale Alex Buchanan AM
Dr Alex Buchanan resigned in 2019 from Rotary Melbourne due to ill health. He passed away last Wednesday 26 October.

Tonga Project Update
At last week's meeting PP Robert Fisher provided an update on the Rotary Melbourne project, in patnership with RedR, on supporting the humanitarian response following the Tonga volcano eruption in January 2022.
End Hepatitis Now message
The latest in over 40 presentations of the End Hepatitis Now message to Victorian Rotary Clubs occurred last Wednesday evening at Rotary Hoppers Crossing meeting in Werribee.
Australian Trustee of The Rotary Foundation
It was announced yesterday in the centre of the Rotary universe i.e. Evanston, USA, that PDG Denis Shore of R.C.Hawthorn will be appointed a Trustee of The Rotary Foundation for a 4 year term.

Dennis Shore, Co-Vice Chair and Promotions Director, has produced the attached Procedure which steps Rotarians through the process to ensure they register and pay in Australian Dollars.
