Rotary Melbourne Strategic Workshop
On the afternoon of Sunday 19 November 2023, President Elect (2024-25) Catherine Baxter convened a strategic workshop of interested members to begin work on the Club’s 2024-2027 Strategic plan.
Make A House A Home
Our Rotary Melbourne Make House a Home project (MAHAH) has assisted hundreds of homeless people since it commenced in 2017, with our volunteers purchasing, packing and delivering sets of homewares helping Launch Housing as they find new homes for the homeless. You can watch our video to see how it all works.
Make A House A Home for Christmas
Our Rotary Melbourne Elves are out in force this December supporting Launch Housing by helping to deliver over 2000 toys in time for Christmas for children impacted by homelessness.

Welfare of the Young project For Change Co.
Following an address last year to one of our evening meetings by the Founder and CEO of the NFP For Change Co., Tenille Gilbert, the Welfare of the Young Committee sought a proposal around a specific and sustainable need that we might help to fund.
Rotary Melbourne attends City Economy Summit
Rotary Melbourne's Peter Berg atteneded the first of two sessions on the City of Melbourne Economy Summit which was held on the morning of Wednesday 6th December 24. Invitees to the summit, which included a representative from Rotary Melbourne, were from local Melbourne businesses, Government and Not-for-Profits.

Seeing someone sleeping rough in your local area can feel confronting, especially when you’re unsure how to help. While there's no one right action, it is clear that the kindness of strangers can make a world of difference. And that means each of us.

WithOneSeed possible Christmas Present suggestion
Rotary Melbourne is a leader in promoting and adopting Environmental Sustainability initiatives. The Club is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by calculating emissions and offsetting through carbon credits and adopting trees in social enterprises such as WithOneSeed, a community agroforestry program supporting subsistence farmers in Timor-Leste.
