Join us at RIMERN warehouse for Volunteer & Learn Day
Time 11am for some volunteering, packing, sorting etc.. Finish at 2pm.
At 12.30 we will break for refreshments and hear about the project.

Vocational Study Group from Houston
This January (Vocational Service Month), Rotary Melbourne hosted an international business study group from the University of Houston - Downtown with a series of vocational workshops and presentations from our members about business, logistics and commercial challenges in Australia.
Second Bite Prahran Market Sunday 14 January 24
Robert, Sue & Reg, had a good Second Bite 🍎🥦🥖 collection on Sunday 14 January 2024, both in terms of quantity and quality. We had boxes of fruit and vegetables, flowers, deli items, sweet treats and lots of bread. It filled up Reg's station wagon. We then dropped the collection at the Salvation Army the following day due to key staff being on annual leave.
Visit to Melbourne by Osaka Rotarian Ryusuke Yokoyama
On Wednesday 17th January 2024, President Chris, Peter Addison (Chair Int. Programmes Committee) and PP Chris hosted Ryusuke Yokoyama a member of Rotary Melbourne's sister Club Osaka Rotary. Ryusuke is President and CEO of the Osaka Stock Exchange.

Regionalisation races ahead into the new year
Clubs will be notified via email of their Rotary Community Groups (RCGs) in February, hold their first meeting in March, then elect their Rotary Community Leaders (RCLs) in April.
International News
Rotary International 2024-25 Presidential theme announced
Rotary International President-elect Stephanie Urchick announced the 2024-25 theme, The Magic of Rotary, at the International Assembly on 8 January.
