Afri Aus Care and Rotary Melbourne Youth Mentoring
Rotary Melbourne has received the following message and video from Selba-Gondoza Luka, CEO & Founder, Afri Aus Care. "Words can not say how grateful we are as a Team at AAC. Rotary International article on RGECAF
Rotarians and friends might be interested in the recent article published by Rotary International about the RGECAF project. It includes a video from RIPP Jennifer Jones’ and Ruth Cross visit last year to Kiribati. The link is: https://www.rotary.org/en/healthier-lives-ahead-south-pacific-children Ruth Cross visited Rotary Melbourne and was the recipient of our major RGECAF fundraiser prize a few years ago. She returned to Kiribati and became President of Rotary there. Several of our members also sponsored a container of goods from DIK to Rotary Kiribati in 2020.
Residents 3000 | Residents of Melbourne CBD, Australia – community group
On Wednesday 1 May 24 Amit Gill (incoming Membership Director)and Peter Berg (RCM's City of Melbourne Liaison) showcased Rotary Melbourne and its volunteering opportunities at the Residents 3000 Community Event at the Kelvin Club, jointly organised by the City of Melbourne and Residents 3000 who are a very active citizen’s group ensuring the city has a vibrant community life.
