Mathew Karakoulakis, a member of Rotary Melbourne, was an expert interviewed on the programme "Corrupting Blak Business" on the NIT TV  30 minute Living Black show last week.

At the District 9800 Changeover on 30 June 24 Rotary Melbourne member Robert (Bob) Fels was awarded with the Royce Abbey Award.

Vocational Service Award 2024/25 – Call for Nominations

Nominations for the Rotary Melbourne Vocational Service Award are now open and members are invited to submit names of qualified community leaders who have demonstrated distinguished Vocational Service by 31 July 2024.       

 

 

Rotary Partnership with Gender and Disaster Australia

Rotary Melbourne has partnered with Gender and Disaster Australia to offer Rotarians, their family members and friends, partner organisation and other like-minded community members the opportunity to participate in their signature "Lessons in Disaster" training.      

 

 

Rotary Melbourne attends Pieces of Margery

Rotary Club of Melbourne’s Arts Committee recently promoted the performance of a new opera, Pieces of Margery, by Melbourne composer May Lyon and librettist Julia Vogel. Dealing with the issue of dementia, the performance was premiered by More Than Opera, a company founded by David Kram AM and chaired by Tony Battaini.

3rd Annual Environment and Sustainability Luncheon - only 2 weeks away

This year’s 3rd Annual Environment & Sustainability luncheon will feature an oration address from Christine Holgate, CEO of Team Global Express. We will have a change of scenery – the event will be at the RACV Club Level 17 Ballroom on Wednesday 24 July 2024, at 12:30pm.
