Last Week's Meeting 24 July 24: Environmental & Sustainability Lunch

The Rotary Melbourne meeting on Wednesday 24 July 24 was the Third Annual environment and Sustainability Luncheon. It earned “blockbuster” status with 230 in attendance overall. Note there was no recording of this event.

NGV Visit 24 - The Pharaohs - LAST CHANCE TO BOOK THIS WEEK

BOOKINGS CLOSE 31 JULY: Rotary Melbourne is organising a lecture and visit to the NGV 2024 Melbourne Winter Masterpieces - The Pharaohs on Friday 9 August 2024. The NGV has partnered with the British Museum to present Pharaoh, a landmark exhibition that celebrates three thousand years of ancient Egyptian art and culture.

Congratulations to Learning for Life student Emmanouela! The Smith Family is thrilled to share that Emmanouela is heading to the Paris Olympics as the youngest member of the Australian Gymnastics Olympic team! 🌟

 

 

Rotary Mental Health First Aid Courses - Book Now

The District 9800 Australian Rotary Health Committee conducts Mental Health First Aid Courses several times a year with the objective of raising funds for Australian Rotary Health (ARH) initiatives. These courses are open to Rotarians and also the public.       

 

 

Donations in Kind Open Day - BOOK NOW

The store will be open for all Rotarians and friends to visit and exclaim at the treasure trove which is available for clubs to use for their humanitarian projects. Saturday 10 August @ 10am.      

 

 

MITS July 24 Newsletter

MITS (Melbourne Indigenous Transition School) has shared their latest newsletter. Edward Tudor, Executive Director noted 'In this July edition of our MITS Family Newsletter we explore what was a very busy and exciting Term 2 here at MITS.  Our students are now returning from their holiday breaks and we can't wait to get Term 3 underway!

There is even a photo of Rotary Melbourne member Suresh Marcandan.  'ARH District 9800 Chair, Dr Suresh Marcandan presented Elizabeth Dumonio with a Gold Companion Award for her long-term commitment and continual support of ARH.'
