Life-Saving Care For A Young Taipan Bite Patient

A young boy’s life was saved after a deadly taipan bite in Papua New Guinea, thanks to a rapid emergency response supported by Rotary Melbourne’s donated ventilator and critical care equipment. This powerful example of teamwork and early intervention shows the life-saving impact of our PNG Snakebite Partnership in action.

Automated External Defibrillator installed at 15 Collins St, Melbourne

At the suggestion of Rotary Melbourne, the building manager at 15 Collins Street, Melbourne on 9 April 25 had installed an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machine in the building foyer to the right of the lifts.

Last Week's Meeting 9 April 25

Over 20 Melbourne Rotarians joined other volunteers for meal packing, on behalf of FORaMEAL, at RMIT last Wednesday, 9 April 25, led as always by President Catherine. Over 8,000 meals were packed in 1.5 hours.
