Melbourne Pollinator Corridor

Event

Inspired and led by Emma Cutting’s Heart Gardening Project, inner Melbourne Rotary Clubs have been invited to collaborate and create an 8-kilometre Melbourne Pollinator Corridor from the Botanical Gardens to Port Melbourne. Plans are for each Club to contribute to the Pollinator Corridor by filling any undervalued and undernourished public space such as nature strips, laneways, dedicated garden areas and any available land with green, biodiverse, pollinator-friendly plants.

On Sunday 30 May at 11am, Emma will lead a street garden walk to view the gardens she has created in the very densely populated urban area of South Melbourne to illustrate what can be accomplished.   For more details of her achievements, her journey is documented on the The Heart Gardening website and Instagram
