Before joining SecondBite in 2016, Jim Mullan was the CEO of The Big Issue, UK, the world's most widely circulated street newspaper and one of the UK's leading social businesses offering homeless people the opportunity to earn a legitimate income.

Jim was also the Founding General Manager at KibbleWorks, one of Scotland’s oldest social enterprises and the country’s premier specialist provider of care and education to young people in trouble. In his 30 years of working in social enterprises, he has seen the gap between ‘haves’ and people in real need increase.

Jim is honoured and excited to be leading SecondBite into this new chapter of growth and building on the great foundation that has been established.
