Yaso Nadarajah is an associate professor in the Centre for Social and Global Studies and Postgraduate International Development Program at RMIT University.
For more than 10 years, Yaso has studied human ingenuity and now is developing innovative approaches to development in the Indo-Pacific region. Her work has generated a wide range of programs, research reports and publications, with visible influence in public and community policy in Papua New Guinea, India, Malaysia and Australia
She is also adjunct professor/senior research associate at several universities across the world. In 2012, she became an elder of the Kukukuku tribal community in Papua New Guinea.
