Evening Meeting Live@The Lyceum

Date

From: Wednesday April 13, 2022, 5:45 pm

To: Wednesday April 13, 2022, 7:30 pm

Please join us on a rollicking adventure that will fill you with warmth, sorrow, happiness and joy and get you to understand that a positive attitude is what can really make the difference.

Alexander (Sandy) R Hood, former professional soldier, military contractor, expedition leader, adventure tour leader, session musician and fashion designer, has lead an amazing life touring the world in a variety of roles and occupations.

From overseas deployment, to leading overlands from London to Kathmandu return, or London to Nairobi and many points in between.

From military contracting in South West Africa and trying to keep a peace that could never be kept in the Middle East and Northern Iraq, to working with over indulged pop stars, firstly as personal security and then later in the studio.

From the tragedy of having a parent accidentally killed, to stepping into a role in the Australian fashion industry that he was not at all prepared for, Sandy’s story is one of adventure, adrenaline fuelled heights, mind boggling fears, tragic loss and of witnessing humanity at its worst and best.
