Tammy Medard has national responsibility for leading the provision of tailored financial and capital management solutions to Australia and PNG’s corporate clients. The Institutional business that Tammy leads cover public and privately-held businesses in all sectors with annual revenue starting from circa $50m through to Australia’s largest listed businesses. 

Prior to this role, Tammy led ANZ’s Diversified Industries business which focused on large listed Industrials, Agriculture, Retail, Telecommunications, Government, and Technology.  Tammy was Chief Executive Officer of ANZ Bank Laos. Based in Vientiane, she ran a full commercial-licensed bank with Retail, Institutional and Global Markets offerings primarily focused on facilitating the international trade flow in and out of Laos relating to mining, hydropower and agriculture. Tammy joined ANZ in 2009 in the Risk Division and quickly built a reputation for her expertise in risk management and stakeholder relations.

Before joining ANZ, she was an infrastructure credit analyst for Standard & Poor's Ratings Services focusing on utilities, airports, toll roads and public and private partnerships across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with major infrastructure companies. Tammy began her banking career with JP Morgan Chase in New York City focusing on the large Not-for-Profit, University and Healthcare sectors; delivering municipal bond product solutions and corporate banking products. A citizen of Australia for 15 years, Tammy is originally from the US, and has a Bachelor of Science (Finance) from the University of Maryland – Robert H Smith School of Business. Tammy is a Leadership Group member of the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles and signatory to the UN WEPs.
