Environmental sustainability must be part of our daily lives, and to improve awareness of the environmental harm of food wastes Rotary Melbourne is partnering with Oz Harvest and the City of Melbourne to hold our inaugural event titled Round Plate during Melbourne Knowledge Week.
Enjoy a bespoke zero-waste three course lunch while learning about food sustainability, food security and the future of our food systems.
Share their insights on the impact of food waste on the environment.
The event will be hosted by Mikaela Stafrace (RCM) and the DLM Nicholas Reece will be the Panel Moderator.
The tickets for the luncheon event at Cumulus Inc on 1st May can be purchased on line https://mkw.melbourne.vic.gov.au/event/round-plate/
Each ticket includes a $30 donation to OzHarvest to support their important work of food rescue, supporting vulnerable communities.
Every $1 donated to OzHarvest will provide 2 meals to those in need.
This event is part of Melbourne Knowledge Week, 26 April to 2 May 2021, proudly presented by the City of Melbourne.
