Glen Kinross joined the Rotary Club of Hamilton, Queensland in 1960 and became President of Rotary International in 1997-98. A joint proprietor of furniture manufacturing firm John Kinross & Company (est 1911), he has served as chairman of the Australian Council of Furniture Manufacturers and is a life member and past president and counccilor of the Queensland Guild of Furniture Manufacturers.
Rotary Theme 1997-98
The theme for the Rotary Year 1997-98 has been “Show Rotary Cares”. Consistent with this theme we determined this year to concentrate on “hands on” projects to benefit both local and international communities.
