Born into a racing family\, Joe has seen many sides to racing from bookmaking\, horse ownership\, thoroughbred breeding\, media and administration. He is considered an expert of sorts on horse-racing and in particular the Melbourne Cup and has managed\, among other projects at the VRC\, the popular Emirates Melbourne Cup Tour which takes the coveted Loving Cup Trophy to communities across Australia and New Zealand each year.

A former editor of the racing industry&rsquo\;s Inside Racing\, Joe has also been involved in the VRC&rsquo\;s International Strategy and Marketing of the Melbourne Cup Carnival and fulfills a role as Racing Engagements Manager\, maintaining regular contact with racing&rsquo\;s key personnel.&nbsp\;
