Yaso Nadarajah is an associate professor in the Centre for Social and Global Studies and Postgraduate International Development Program at RMIT University.
&nbsp\;
For more than 10 years\, Yaso has studied human ingenuity and now is developing innovative approaches to development in the Indo-Pacific region. Her work has generated a wide range of programs\, research reports and publications\, with visible influence in public and community policy in Papua New Guinea\, India\, Malaysia and Australia
&nbsp\;
She is also adjunct professor/senior research associate at several universities across the world. In 2012\, she became an elder of the Kukukuku tribal community in Papua New Guinea.
