This week we enjoyed the second instalment of the “Looking on the bright side of life” series with the opportunity for Members to hear from two experienced professionals who operate in the aged care domain followed by excellent questions from Members.
Editor was one of the four Rotarians who took a grandchild to Werribee Park Open Zoo Refugee Picnic on 26 January. This was a terrific 3 hours spent meeting Refugee families and was obviously greatly appreciated by the organisers. Let us all make an effort to attend next year's zoo visit with our families.

Thanks to Rob McGuirk for so much fascinating history of youth hostels through the many international decades. Memories were activated as we recalled our own travels and youth hostel stories. What a tremendous organisation International Hostelling is today filling the needs of travellers of any age providing comfort, friendship and safety to world travellers.
