Stephanie Woollard, founder of Seven Women, the charity in Nepal that works to empower marginalised women through education, skills training and income generation, ran a fundraiser at The Windsor Hotel on 28 November.

Sandra Hills and Richard Skinner have created a fantastic first luncheon meeting for 2019. This will be the first part of a double feature program presentation. On 16 January and 30 January 2019, "The Bright Side of Life: Preparing for Our Later Years" will be presented to Members and guests to inform us all about how we can be best prepared for our later years.

Past President Mary Barry accepted on behalf of the Club, a Presidential Citation for 2017-18 from Immediate Past District Governor Peter Frueh. The citation is awarded to our Club and recognises the achievement and efforts in making a difference.

Last week's meeting, Anton Leschen, General Manager, Smith Family was thrilled to receive a cheque for $20,455 on behalf of the Smith Family. This was raised by the outstanding efforts of our 'Around the Bay' 2018 Team of riders and volunteers.
