The Peace Bells are ringing! Officially opened on Wednesday 24 May 2023 at Rotary Melbourne Peace Park with Lord Mayor Sally Capp, Nobel Prize Peace Laureate Tilman Ruff, designer Neil McLachlan, Rotary Melbourne President Adrian Nelson, and Project Leader Rob McGuirk. An historic day for peace and Rotary in Melbourne.
Rotary Melbourne hosted a private meeting on Friday 26 May 23 with Lord Mayor Sally Capp for our sister club the Rotary Club of Osaka - sister city of City of Melbourne - during the Rotary International Convention in Melbourne.
Hundreds participated in the End Polio Walk last Friday 26 May. They walker past our Rotary Flower Bed, ending up at the Rotary Melbourne Peace Park.
From all reports the Rotary Melbourne Marvellous Melbourne Cocktail Party, held on Sunday 28 May 23, was a great success. The event celebrated Rotary Melbourne's special relationship with clubs across the world. Read the Interesting Stats of the Clubs represented at the event.

The 17th ITFR World Championships were held at Melbourne Park over 4 days immediately prior to the Rotary International Convention.
Trevor, Peter, Deb (and David) had a good Second Bite 🍎🥦🥖 collection on Sunday, both in terms of quantity and quality. We had 3 boxes of egg plant, 3 boxes of mango, many bananas, onions, potatoes and lots of bread. It filled up the SUV. We then dropped the collection at the Salvation Army.
