Always a highlight of the Rotary Year this years Vocational Service Award Presentation will be made on the recommendation of the Vocational Service Committee to Dr Sandro Demaio, CEO of VicHealth and founder of the Sandro Demaio Foundation in which his exemplary community service aims to empower Australians to make positive changes to their health, the environment and their community through food.  

Sandro combines his record of distinguished leadership of several community health focused organisations in Australia and overseas, with his innovative thinking communication skills to provide a platform for thought leaderships and strong partnerships for transforming food production systems.  This will lead to healthier Australians, less vulnerable to life threatening non-communicable diseases.

He joins nearly 60 distinguished Victorians as a recipient of this Award, some of whom are likely to join us for this years Vocational Service Award presentation.   Why not bring friends and partners to this important event to witness the presentation and hear Sandro’s keynote address on his approach to Service above Self.
