Welcome New Member - Robert Klupacs
Melbourne Rotary welcomed and inducted Robert Klupacs into the Club on 1 March 2023. Robert is CEO of the Bionics Institute. His classification is Corporate Designee - Bionics Research and he will be a member of the Central 2 Group. Robert, Ann and Melissa are excited about joining Rotary Melbourne as the Institute's philosophies align closely with Rotary's - helping others.

Maestro David Kram - The Ring Cycle Opera
Maestro David Kram will be conducting The Ring Cycle Opera (Cycle 3 and last cycle) Opera at the Ulumbarra Theatre, Bendigo. The cycle David is conducting is being held on April 21 (Das Rheingold), 23 (Die Walküre), 28 (Siegfried) and 30 (Götterdämmerung). For more details and to book visit HERE.

The Rotary Melbourne Bulletin editor recently had contact with Kushal, a former intern with the Club. He was recently appointed a Study Melbourne Ambassador in February.

Rotary Melbourne Park Peace Bells Project: Donate NOW
The Rotary Club of Melbourne is a club that for generations has made a significant legacy to Rotary and to the City of Melbourne. Our new Peace Bell installation at our Rotary Park (newly renamed as “Rotary Melbourne Peace Park”) will provide yet another significant legacy and a focal point for Peace in Melbourne.
The Rotary Footy Tipping - FINAL chance to register
Footy Tipping is an important fund raising initiative of the club. Join the Rotary Melbourne Footing Tipping Competition for 2023. AFL footy commences on Thursday 16 March. Dont forget to get your tips in if you have registered.

Peacebuilder Club Meeting 7 Feb 23
On 7 February 2023, the Rotary Action Group For Peace (RAGFP) held its first Global Peacebuilder Club meeting. In 2019 Rotary Melbourne joined seven other Clubs around Australia and became a ‘Peacebuilder Club’.
