At the meeting on Wednesday 5 April the Guest Speaker was James Tomkins OAM, OLY, Olympic Rower and member of the famous "Awesome Foursome" Rowing team, speaking on the topic 'Doing the right thing in sport is sometimes hard and sometimes easy'.

Last Wednesday 5 April a survey link was sent to all Rotary Melbourne Club members.  It only takes around 6 minutes to complete and will give insights into member opinions on meetings and engagement.
Please give this your urgent attention ASAP and before closing date 13 April.

Rotary Melbourne member Ahmed Tohow gave a wonderful and moving presentation at the Rotary Hawthorn lunch meeting on 5 April on African Australian Youth & Violence.

Can you help? Are you handy with a drill and a hammer?
We are keen to make the office shine in time for the convention and require a handy helper to put up some framed pictures tighten the leaky sink taps and some light lifting and moving.
Please contact Jo in the Rotary office, she will be very grateful.

Join this team of no fuss Rotarians.  Arrive on your rostered day at 12.15 pmish finishing at 12.50 and join the welcoming Lunch Reception team. You choose the dates, you join the roster, and swaps are easy. It’s a great way to learn Members names and to serve the Club.
