Our loved and highly respected Bob Fels was awarded the inaugural Bob Fels Peace Prize at the District Awards event on 6 June. Bob is seen here in his study online receiving his award.
What a truly magnificent presentation we were given when two of Rotary Melbourne's Honorary Members provided us with an exceptional delivery of "Working in isolation – what’s been occupying Australia’s Chief Scientist in 2020" and Tilman Ruff's enjoyable delivery as Chair. Do you have any old sewing machines looking for a new home in East Timor? Peter Clements is collecting old sewing machines, particularly the mechanical (non-electronic) or treadle-powered Singer machines to send to the Canossian Sisters in the coffee mountains of East Timor.

At last week's Young Achiever Awards 2020, Eangano Singehebhuye described his passion for helping others. As an Awardee, he thanked Western Chances for their support for him as a young boy in the Western suburbs and their continuing support to this day.
