THE SMITH FAMILY

Rotary Melbourne would like to thank those who purchased a Raffle Ticket in our recent fundraising for the disadvantaged children who The Smith Family support through their "Learning for Life Program".  Proceeds from the raffle were more than twice the value of earlier years, even with our cancelled Around the Bay Bike Ride.

The winning ticket was purchased by Rotary Melbourne's Ian Ross winning the $2,000 bike prize donated by My Ride Collingwood bike store who continue their support for us.

With the proceeds from our own Silent Auction and the Raffle, the result so far is that we will have over $20,000 for The Smith Family's Learning for Life scholarships in 2020, despite Covid-19. We are also working on a fun social event in November that might even add to the total.
