Virginia provided a fascinating view of the Melbourne Theatre Company with a summary of Melbourne Theatre Company’s 64 year history and the exciting path ahead. DG Bronwyn created an inspirational presentation to Members and Guests last week. Not only did she provide her perspective on Rotary District's goals for her year but invited our Members to describe the Rotary Club of Melbourne's work in fulfilling these goals.
Libby Murphy with 28 years work with Victoria Police, provided a sobering insight into "Elder Abuse as Family Violence". Elder Abuse is one of the topics to be addressed in our "Rotary Safe Families" initiative which is planned for later this year and Libby and Victoria Police believe that we all need to understand and be able to identify this too common, complex form of violence.
