We welcomed Sarah Macleod Bourke last month when her mother, President Marion Macleod, inducted her to Rotary Melbourne. This was a delightful moment in Rotary Melbourne history - mother daughter memberships!

Thank you to Rotary Melbourne Central for extending this invitation with the comment: "We thought members with children and 'grandies' might be interested. President Marion shared: One of the first Catholics to join Rotary was Father Jeremiah Murphy SJ, the Rector of Newman College in the University of Melbourne. He was a delightful person, friendly, urbane, witty, and a great conversationalist. Members vied with each other to sit at his table to enjoy his company. He was nominated to Rotary Melbourne by Professor Osborne!
