Norman Taralrud-Bay did a great service at the Rotary Peace Conference in Toronto Cliffords a week or so ago, thanking Dean Axelrod for Direct Relief’s donation of face masks to assist in the bushfire crisis. Dean is President of RC Santa Barbara who does partnership management for Direct Relief. He was manning the Direct Relief booth at the conference.

ANOTHER AUSTRALIA DAY AWARDEE

In 2018, Jim Markovski was our Sir John Reid Awardee and this year, we congratulate Jim for being a recipient of an OAM in the New Year honours.  Our award recognised Jim's many years of volunteer work with refugee youth basketball, the Redskins.  Jim attended our Sir John Reid Award in 2019 as a past recipient.
