Last Sunday was World Hearing Day. This is a WHO project raising awareness of the importance of protecting our hearing and helping those who can't hear. It's time to remember that we can help by collecting used hearing aids and giving them to Elaine Saunders or Jo in the Rotary office. At last week's meeting, Keith Murray, Most Worshipful Grand Master of Freemasons Victoria, spoke about the history of Freemasonry. It was noted that Keith hails from Paisley in Scotland, which is a similar origin to President Robert. A great coincidence.
Hugh Bucknall at last week's R100 meeting, conveyed the excitement and successes achieved in promoting Rotary 100 Years to Australasia. The years of planning are paying off with a flurry of activation from Districts and Clubs Australia wide.
