The Club was fortunate to have Shani Cain present to the members and guests today. Shani is the recently appointed CEO of the Oaktree Foundation (Oaktree.org) and spoke to the topic of Empowering and Enabling Youth.
Welcome Mikaela! Mikaela was inducted only last month and has "hit the Rotary Melbourne ground running"! Mikaela will be Chairperson of our Evening Meetings and we are all looking forward to working with her in this important area of RCM.
Rotary Melbourne’s Dr Tilman Ruff, AM was recently awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for distinguished service to the global community as an advocate for nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, and to medicine. Our congratulations Tilman seen here with President Robert and his Nobel Peace medal!
