Last week's meeting, Anton Leschen, General Manager, Smith Family was thrilled to receive a cheque for $20,455 on behalf of the Smith Family. This was raised by the outstanding efforts of our 'Around the Bay' 2018 Team of riders and volunteers.

As we all know by now Melbourne is bidding for the 2023 RI Convention. Melbourne and London are the two finalists. President Robert and Myra, along with PN Marion Macleod and Inter-Club Visits Chair John Peberdy clocked up some kilometres as they travelled to Horsham to share in Rotary Horsham's 90th Anniversary Dinner. Our Club chartered RC of
Ballarat in 1925, and they in turn chartered RC of Horsham in 1928. Marion is seen here after a long dinner for the cutting of the cake!
Ross Scholes Robertson is recovering from major back surgery and he is advised all went well! “All is going well this far and I am due home next Wednesday. As they say "One Step at a Time" I am looking forward to seeing all you beautiful people again in December.” We all wish you well Ross.
