This year’s ChangeOver will be a very special dinner event in the Sofitel’s LaTrobe Room for members, partners and their guests. Diarise: Wednesday 26th June in lieu of our regular lunch time meeting.
Holger Knaack, of the Rotary Club of Herzogtum Lauenburg-Mölln, Germany, has been selected to serve as president of Rotary International in 2020-21. The Nominating Committee's decision follows the resignation last month of President-nominee Sushil Gupta. Knaack will officially become president-nominee if no other candidates challenge him by 31 May.
Elaine Saunders is to be speaking on Friday 24 May at the Celebration Women, Long Table Lunch, which is raising funds for Taralye (part of the Royal National Institute for Deaf and Blind Children). It's to be held in the lovely Mural Hall.

Our Past Honorary Secretary Keith W Callinan was recognised with a PHF Double Sapphire at last week’s meeting. He is seen here with his wife Trudi and President Robert. Congratulations Keith, this award is so well deserved!
Peter Rawlings and Anne Shaw are seen here presenting a cheque from the Estate of the Late Barry Rawlings who passed away last October. Community Foundation Chair, Sue McDonald accepted the cheque on behalf of the Club.
Catherine Baxter was inducted and welcomed to Rotary Melbourne on 10th April 2010 with the classification Public Transport – Human Resources.
Members will all have received their Rotary Club of Melbourne Annual Appeal letter from President Robert and President Elect Kevin Sheehan. The inaugural Ambulance Victoria Leaders Mentoring Program was officially completed last week at a thank you dinner in Melbourne. Bulletin Editor was thanked for her "commitment and contribution" by DG Bronwyn Stephens and Tony Walker Chief Executive Officer, Ambulance Victoria.
President Robert has provided the following feedback in this final summary of our Membership Engagement Survey: "I’d like to complete my feedback by featuring some of the additional comments that were made by contributors."
The Club’s legendary "super salesman" Alan Trumble provided the Members with a "heart wrenching" rev up about our Raffle!

Our Evening Meeting co-hosted with Leadership Victoria was an outstanding event. Christine Kotur, introduced by Richard Dent (picture) is inaugural Leader In Residence at Leadership Victoria spoke about 'Leading the Community in the 21st Century'.
