Rob Helme has provided us with news from Victoria Police Inspector Andy Miles, who has replaced our Charlie Allen in District 9800 selection of Victoria Police candidates for the peace and conflict resolution program at the Rotary Peace Centre at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

A video film "We are Here for You, because We are You" has been produced by Victoria Police employees who have established relationships with multicultural communities by developing innovative strategies via the Rotary Victoria Police Mentoring Program.

There were too many Malvern Group attendees to fit us all in one photo! Thank you to Reg and Sue who last week, hosted a fantastic highly topical discussion with lovely supper. A special acknowledgement to Maryla Juchnowski (R) who was special guest of her Mentee, Snr Sgt Marilynn Ross (L) at Victoria's Multi-Cultural Awards for Excellence for 2018 held at Government House. Marilynn was recognised for her work with the Indian community and cited Maryla for her role as "Mentor, Assist Initiative, Concepts & Questions". Fantastic work Maryla as Mentor in 2016/17 Program!

Last week's luncheon meeting was another one of those outstanding meetings which this time, heard from Edward Tudor when he humbly accepted the RCM 2018 Vocational Service Award. His oration may be heard via Website Podcast - "Meetings/Events" - Podcasts. He is seen here with Vocation Committee's Reg Smith and President Robert.
Hugh Bucknall was "over the moon" when he was advised last week that all the work he and his Team had done to be shortlisted for the RI Convention 2023, has paid off.
