On 27 November, to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War, the Rotary Clubs of Glenferrie, Hawthorn, Kew and Yarra Bend will combine to host a signature event to pay homage to one of the architects of that achievement, an Australian, Sir John Monash.

The Sheehan’s, Scalzo’s, Fishers, Smith’s (Reg) & Kerry Kornhauser attended the MITS (Melbourne Indigenous Transition School) fund raiser dinner at Carousal beside Albert Park Lake with 500 attendees. Hamish Blake as MC (pro-bono) and event raised $225,000.

Wednesday, 7 November lunch meeting, we will meet our Sir John Reid Community Service Awardees for 2018. Kevin and Rhonda Butler, BlazeAid will receive this Award in recognition of their devotion to community welfare over a lengthy period without remuneration.
Luke Belfield was inducted on 24 October with the classification STATE GOVT - CAPITAL INFRASTRUCTURE. Luke works for the Dept of Premier & Cabinet. In his current role he is responsible for the VicGov Infrastructure budget (in excess of $75bn of projects).
